WIN UP TO $30,000 IN IDE GROUP SERVICES
Do you have an idea for a healthcare product that can improve and change people’s lives?
Entrepreneurs, researchers and industry professionals worldwide are invited to apply for the Building Better Futures for Health Challenge. The winners receive up to $30,000 worth of product development, commercialisation and entrepreneurial support from IDE Group, bringing your idea to life and kick-starting our journey together to commercialisation.
Since 2016, IDE Group has successfully hosted and supported the annual Building Better Futures for Health Challenge (BBFH). IDE is proud to announce the return of this competition in 2021. BBFH challenge offers individuals, R&D Managers, Researchers, Universities, startups, or established businesses the chance to apply and pitch their medical technology idea.
Successful applicants are in the running to win up to $30,000 worth of IDE Group services. The final winner, as decided by the BBFH judges, will receive a total of $25,000 worth of IDE services and the opportunity to win an additional $5,000 worth of services, awarded on the day to the winner of the “Staff’s Choice Award”.
BBFH provides finalists and winners with the unique opportunity to obtain advice, mentorship, and financial guidance from IDE and the selected judging panel. Collectively you will have access to a cross-functional team of entrepreneurs, scientists, designers, engineers, and clinical professionals. Bringing an established network of knowledge, experiences, and connections in the medical technology field. IDE’s medical technology investment team is particularly interested in appraising opportunities in the areas of Drug Delivery, Surgical Technologies, Point of Care and Self-Test Diagnostics, and Wearable Medical Devices.
George Sidis, Managing Director of IDE Group, explains the philosophy of BBFH, “The BBFH challenge is about working together to find, create, evaluate and invest in Australia’s best medical technology innovations. For us, a big part of the investment means offering specialised guidance, feedback and industry networks to help BBFH Challengers along every part of their commercialisation journey.”
BBFH 2021 will be a virtual competition. Winners will be announced over the week of 10th-18th December.
