Customer Relationship Officer

The Role

  • Understand client needs for IDE Manufacturing services

  • Work within IDE Manufacturing team to develop plans for delivering on these needs

  • Work within the IDE Manufacturing team to ensure IDE meets the needs in a manner that delights the customer

  • Manage all client communications and enquiries related to IDE Manufacturing services

  • Collaborate with suppliers, accounts and internal customers to manage orders

  • Negotiation and problem solving to follow up on outstanding invoices

  • Fulfilling the customer's needs in accordance with business contractual obligations

  • Maintaining personal knowledge of safety instructions and operational procedures and participate in training courses including 'self-learning' and β€˜on the job' training

  • Grow and nurture new and existing client relationships

  • Understand client business needs and communicate them to the manufacturing team to enable IDE to work with the client to grow their business and ours.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in customer service and administration

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and listening skills

  • Ability to solve problems within a multi-disciplinary environment

  • A degree in engineering, manufacturing or an applicable technical discipline is preferable but not necessary

  • Experience in a medical device manufacturing environment or in similar regulated industry preferred.
