Yukai Fu

Yukai grew up in Shanghai and came to Sydney to complete his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering. Keeping curiosity drives his study, work, and life.

Within the biomedical cohort, his concentration in mechanical engineering provided him with plenty of experience in mechanical design and analysis. In his final year of university, he spent some fun time in labs, creating a novel plasma surface functionalization technique for bone implants. After graduation, he was honored and lucky enough to be offered the Sydney Nano taste of research award so that he could continue his further experiments.

Outside the biomedical domain, Yukai loves playing sports and particularly enjoys all types of ball games, from basketball to bowling. If weather permits, he is keen on hiking and camping around NSW.
