Jacky Cai

Jacky discovered engineering when he was 15 and never looked back. Fascinated by the ability to understand and affect the world; he decided to study engineering at UNSW and graduated with a Bachelor of Mechatronics Engineering in 2017. He worked in the start-up tech industry and earth-moving machinery industry before joining IDE in mid-2019. Jacky has a keen interest in mechanical and electrical design and how to combine them with entrepreneurship to build better futures. In his spare time Jacky enjoys getting choked-out in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, playing football, and trying to figure out how to stop his compost from smelling.
